Lies

Well now telling lies, that’s one hell of a subject isn’t it?

There are many different types of lie, from the simple white lie to the more powerful and dangerous ones that can truly change yours and other people’s lives as well.

Everyone has probably told some sort of lie in their life, many of you have been caught in the act and many of you have got away with it. Those who have got away with it are the ones this goes out to. You who got away with it and lived to tell the tale are the living (hence the getting away with it), you people are the main reason people lie. You know you can get away with it and by getting away with it you can either make your life marginally easier or somehow better.

I can guarantee, other than the odd compulsive liar (see link at bottom of post), that no-one would lie if it they knew that the lie would be figured out, which is understandable as no-one wants to be caught out.

On a slight deviation, do you truly think there are any ‘good’ lies? Lies that can be told to actually do good, not just a good feeling at the time for both parties, bearing in mind that generally if a lie does not last the after affects are typically far worse.
So I put to you, fellow bloggers and leeches, is there truly a good lie?
